THE ADVENTURE

After spending the last ten years building a comfortable life at home, we looked up one day and realized an entire decade had passed. As life grew more comfortable and our routines became familiar, the days seemed to blur together, and before we knew it, years had passed in what felt like the blink of an eye.

 

Some of our best memories from those years came while exploring in our trusty 4Runner, a vehicle we've spent the last five years building and adventuring with. Eventually, we made a decision that still feels a little crazy: instead of talking about what we'd do "one day," we decided to pack up the kids and step away from everything familiar.

 

After two years of planning, preparing, and quietly building toward this dream, that day has finally arrived.

 

We're setting out to drive more than 25,000 miles along the full length of the Pan-American Highway, from the top of North America to the southern tip of South America as a family of four chasing adventure, connection, and a different way of seeing the world.

 

We know this journey will challenge us. It will push us beyond our comfort zones, surprise us in ways we can't predict, and almost certainly change how we see ourselves, each other, and the world around us.
